Monitor Audio Climate 60T2 Outdoor Speakers

With the advent of our versatile CL range, no environment is beyond the reach of great sound, whatever the weather! Engineered for easy installation and loaded with driver technology derived from our globally respected residential speaker ranges, the CL speaker line delivers true hi-fi quality sound outside the home or in wet areas inside.

The range comprises three two-way satellites and a single stereo model. All have a robust, sealed, IP55 rated high density polypropylene design, available in a paintable white or black finish, which protects CL's precision-engineered C-CAM drivers. Smart weather-proof aluminium grilles complete the look.

The CL range can be installed in any combination to provide a wide and even dispersion of full-range sound over large areas, augmented by low frequencies from an Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) in each cabinet.

The Climate 60 T2 speaker is a single-stereo outdoor speaker, housing a single 6 1/2" C-CAM® bass driver and two 1" C-CAM gold dome tweeters, allowing for stereo performance from a single box.

Product Questions
What is the difference between active and passive speakers
Active speakers require a power supply which can come from the mains or a battery. Usually an input would come from an Aux chord or wirelessly from bluetooth or streaming. Passive speakers do not need a seperate power supply but would need amplification, usually via a traditional HiFi amp. Passive speakers are usually for HiFi and surround sound. Active speakers are usually for portable products or media speakers such as for a PC.
